the npflint art house IS ALSO ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY…… AS WELL AS ART AND DESIGN.. and…
The NPF ART HOUSE is made-up and filled entirely with natural, reused, reprocessed or recycled products and materials - as a matter of fact you will be able to live the way many of us ought to live - namely solely using matter that has been used before.
The house is full of my “sustainable” art work - which you of course are welcome to buy if you feel like it. Living in NPFlint ART house will of course give you a chance to experience the art pieces for a period before eventually deciding.
ART or self expressionist HOLIDAY
I have not tried this before but I think it could be ideal for someone who wants to work for some weeks or even a month - eventually end up making a small exhibition to finish things off. There is lots of space to work in / on if you include the 3000 m2 garden. You are welcome to work everywhere as long as you clean up after you (you pay an extra deposit if you rent atelier & gallery).

Come stay in the grand micropole SØBY - a tiny little, but rather active village on the most western part of Ærø - its NOT lively, but quiet and peaceful yet some kind of cosmopolitan vibe due to the many nationalities living here - and due to the shipyard, where also foreign ships come to be taken care of.
Søby is not the primary destination on Ærø - and we are many who do not really understand why. So we are doing something about it. Ærø Kunsthøjskole is close by if you want to do course there also.
I am doing the LOKAL gallery which is is open on Røndalgård by appointment - and many others are organizing various art and other activities over the summer here on Ærø.
And there are yoga schools around the island as well.

the npflint art house IN SØBY ON ÆRØ IN DENMARK……
Come stay in the grand micropole SØBY - a tiny little, but rather active village on the most western part of Ærø - It is beautiful in Søby, which has 2 wonderful beaches on each side - From Buevej 2 there is a 5 to 10 minute walk to Vitsø Strand, a wonderful stony beach but with a beautiful jetty - this beach is the sunset beach. It's about. 5 min. walk to Søby beach - a lovely sandy beach with an equally lovely bathing jetty.
Søby is NOT lively, but quiet and peaceful yet some kind of cosmopolitan vibe due to the many nationalities living here - and due to the shipyard, where also foreign ships come to be taken care of.
Søby offers a couple of restaurants - a golf resort if you are into that kind of entertainment.
There is also Søbygård - a former small mansion / castle now a small cultural center. Click here to see more.

- beaches at Ærø are so varied - and with very few people…. this one is my “private” beach - a secret place where almost no-one comes… apart from me - but there are hundreds of these kind of spots at Ærø…
- and swimming at night is one of my big passions…. here at Vitsø - 5 mins walk from Buevej…
- beach time….
- this is the small annex - which you can rent as an atelier…and below all images from the garden… which is huge - all most 3000 m2-… it will gradually become a wild-garden-petit-art-park….

the npflint art house - why and the future?
The npflint art house is my attempt to make a kind of fusion of a gallery and a holiday home. The house is full of currently only my art work (you are more than welcome to use the house as gallery while you are there - OR use the little gallery space at the end of the house - contest me for more info). For me personally its actually very nice to see your own work in a setting thats not just a gallery or atelier - it might be for you as well - so feel free to take down my artwork and put up your own instead - while you are there.
Also the garden will start to be “arty ZENsustainably artified” and will become a playground for me - and possibly also for other - there might also be CHAMBRE APART / MICRO arty TEMPORARY ART INSTALLATIONs in which you can stay the night over - BUT much more to come about this the coming years.

If you want to rent NPFLINT ART HOUSE, you RENT THE HOUSE THROUGH the rental agency, which takes care of all the practicalities. HOWEVER THE ATELIER AND GALLERY you contact me directly.
If you want to rent atelier and galleri then you may a deposit to me as well that you will get back when you have cleaned the atelier and gallery - the house is cleaned by the agency.
The salons - inside & outside
….places to relax when not hiking, swimming, sight-seeing etc…
its not a massive house but theres room - also when its bad weather. its cosy inside and you have a kind of lounge area - with an Apple computer btw - and internet… not the fastest - in Denmark - but pretty good compared to the rest of the world.
Theres a huge garden - currently not terribly interesting since its just a huge lawn. But I have created seating around where you enjoy the outdoor living. There is a basic barbecue facility and at least 5 seatings around the rather big property (app. 3000 m2).
And then you have 2 min to church - 1,5 minute to the local pub and 300 meters to the local supermarket DAGLI BRUGSEN where you can get anything you like - a VERY well assorted small supermarket - there is really no need to bring food from home….
And then you have the beaches - walking app. 5 to 10 min. depending on where you go.
The dreamer-rooms

There are 3 bedrooms with 3 double beds - however the smallest room - “LE RETRO” - has a rather small RETRO “love-bird-bed” - but still very cosy - and just next to the master bedroom - the romantic old fashioned “COUNTRY-CHAMBRE” - and then behind the kitchen is “THE GARAGE SUITE” - a contemporary minimalistic NPFLINT splash-art-room…

….. OR KØKKEN as we call it in danish - simple but yet with an old dishwasher - and stove with a new fan… so you can cook unless you want to do the outdoor thing.. there’s a nice grill behind the house - on the terrace… or again go to the beach….
