we cant live without……

- bathroom design from late 90´ties - plants integrated in bathroom wall - not for decoration but for cleaning water - it was a project funded by the Danish Housing Ministry and called BLÅ HUS - and it worked, but was not as such accepted by the people using the bathroom. The integration of nature in daily life can fx. cause smell from time to time - or there can be other aspects of inconvenience which modern man does not accept - or I would rather call it RESPECT. At the same time these plants featured an element of natural beauty (also rinsed air btw) in an otherwise rather boring bathroom. Concept Niels Peter Flint developed with Jørgen Løgstrup and Friis & Moltke Architects - There are certain references to the project in this report developed for a similar but much larger project in Copenhagen a decade later - click her for PDF see in particular page 53 where you see a similar system developed based on same concept by Transform Aps 1994 (Jørgen Løgstrup - and established with me in 1994 - I later left the company).

It all started when??… do we really know??

Nature is the planet - or the planet is nature - and we are just a tiny micro scopic part but having a massive macro impact. However can we live without nature - can we live without “ourselves” - could we become robot like non-organic maybe only digital creatures?? Do we want that at all? I dont - and I believe that we at this pint in time need to embrace and understand REAL NATURE more than ever.

This part of these pages I call NATUPAMP = Nature Pampering = taking care of nature again - pampering nature and the planet. Not just for the sake of nature but equally for us - WE HUMANS need nature on all levels, but we have grown so far from each other that we have a hard time finding the reality these days - and that NO GOOD. We need to REINVENT our relationship to nature and the planet - and the universe btw as well. we need to reconnect and become best friends and fall in love with nature.

So here will come articles from me - and from others that I find inspiring and that shows how a future with nature is evident, obvious, natural, ecologically and economically essential etc….

Gardening could be the hobby that helps you live to 100?

Read at first and very relevant article here from BBC reg. why working in the gardens can improve your own personal health dramatically - and from my point of view - hopefully - that way also make you understand NATUPAMP better. Just click here.
