THE paper note state of the world SERIES concept:
This series was made over a period of some years - all made in France at Moulin de Planchette - my old residence and atelier in Pays de Loire in France. Most of these works are made on handmade paper I have found in India - all sorts of qualities and materials. These works are mainly sold without frame - but a frame can be provided as well.
THE paper note state of the world SERIES are a kind of notes I have painted rather than writing - its comments about the state of the world - random - as they come - subconscious and only afterwards do I realize what I have done.

Concept: I hate rats - profoundly - yet I know have to live with them - we all have to - they do amazing work everywhere, but yes they also do the opposite - against us. We humans being the nature wise totally uncivilized beings. The rats might take over one day - the greedier we get - the worse it gets - but the rats are there..….

The BLUEEES GO ON
The BLUEEES GO ON was sold to a collector in Odense, Denmark - young collectors with a fantastic villa with the perfect place for The BLUEEES GO ON.
The BLUEEES GO ON is painted in an old painting - recycled old painting - using linoil, soot, black pigment, chalk, celluloseglue etc.
Using soot gives a very special finish that makes the color - and no colors - black - change a lot in the light. During the day the painting is light and full of “plings” - when it gets dark it becomes very dark - almost like velvet.
